The election of our 2010-11 Board of Directors is right around the corner!! Paul Kincheloe, Carydale Enterprises, Chair of the NVAA Nominating Committee will introduce the organization's 2010-11 candidates. In the year ahead, we will maintain focus on what NVAA does best, serving as an effective advocate for our industry. Join NVAA friends and colleagues to greet and meet the candidates.
This was a busy year during the General Assembly in Richmond. Chip Dicks, FutureLaw, LLC and NVAA's lobbyist will share some stories of the inner workings of the General Assembly and update the NVAA membership on bills passed this year and how they affect you.
Chip has over 30 years of experience with Virginia landlord tenant and real estate issues, including ten years as a as a member of the Virginia General Assembly where he served on the Courts of Justice, Education Nominations and Confirmation Committee, served as Chair of the Infrastructure and Revenue Resources Commission and as a member of the Virginia Housing Study Commission. Within Richmond circles, Chip is well know as an expert on landlord tenant law and is credited with working cooperatively with elected officials to create laws that enhance the housing industry.
