TOPIC: Generations @ Work

With four generations in today's workplace, technology and demographics are on a collision course.  Bridging the generation gaps is critical to maximizing performance.  This workshop will explore the similarities and differences of the Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Gen X and Millennials in the workplace.  The experience that each bring are topics that will be presented and discussed.  Participants will gather tips for retaining and motivating the different generations and have the opportunity to discuss what each peer group can teach the other groups.

 

Guest Speaker:  Cornelia Gamlem, SPHR

Cornelia Gamlem is President of the GEMS Group ltd., a management consulting firm that offers Human Resources solutions.  She consults with a wide range of clients on topics related to HR initiatives, business effectiveness and compliance, sexual harassment, employee relations, affirmative action compliance and workplace diversity.  With over 30 years of business and Human Resource experience, she served in a senior HR leadership roll in a Fortune 500 company where she designed and managed corporate-wide policies, programs and initiatives and best human resources and employment practices.
